Keysource has appointed Ross Roberts as Mechanical Cooling Design Specialist as part of the expansion of the company’s technical services team for key projects. In his new role, Ross will form part of the team that delivers industry-leading data centre solutions with responsibility for the cooling solution and other related mechanical engineering requirements.

 

Ross has more than 35 years experience in building services design and construction across a range of industry sectors including commercial, pharmaceutical, healthcare and high-tech. For the past three years he has worked as an independent consultant developing energy efficient design solutions for mechanical, HVAC and chilled water systems.

 

Prior to this, he spent more than 20 years as Principal Mechanical Engineer for leading pharmaceutical company Pfizer responsible for managing building services designs on major HVAC projects for new laboratory, manufacturing, business and mission critical facilities including computer suites and data centres within the company’s property portfolio.

His knowledge around energy efficient solutions employing renewable and low carbon engineering technologies will provide us with added expertise and support our growth strategy moving forward.”

 

Ross gained an HND in environmental engineering at Dublin Institute of Technology, before undertaking further MSc studies at Brunel University. He is a member of the Chartered Institute of Building Services Engineers (CIBSE) and the International Society of Pharmaceutical Engineers (ISPE).
